Monday, 12th March 2012 Source : HVS International Asian hospitality giant Genting Group is looking to invest in its second integrated gaming and resort complex in Vietnam, in northern Quang Ninh Province. According to the source cited from Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Authority, the Malaysian group signed a memorandum of understanding with Quang Ninh Province for studying the feasibility of developing a large integrated gaming and resort complex in the local Van Don Economic Zone. Under government requirements, total investment capital for this project should not be less than US$4 billion. Genting, through a joint venture with VinaCapital, obtained an investment certificate for the building of a US$4 billion integrated gaming and resort complex in central Quang Nam Province in 2009. The 1,555-hectare project comprises five-star hotels, resorts and villas along with a casino for foreigners and a maximum of 2,500 houses for sale or rent
