IHG & M.I.K Corporation to Bring First Crowne Plaza® Hotel to Phu Quoc Island New 300-room Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay to welcome guests in 2017 InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), one of the world's leading hotel companies, has signed a management agreement with leading real-estate investor and developer in Vietnam, M.I.K Corporation (M.I.K), for a 300-room Crowne Plaza hotel on the island of Phu Quoc. Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay will be one of IHG's first hotels in Phu Quoc and the company's third Crowne Plaza in Vietnam, joining Crowne Plaza West Hanoi and Crowne Plaza Danang. Slated to open in 2017, Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay will be part of the new Star Bay/Green Hill development, which will also feature a lagoon, beach village and a range of shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel, which is accessible via major highways, is close to both the island’s town centre of Duong Dong and the new Phu Quoc International Airport, making it a prime venue for corporate and leisure events. As one of the most reputable meetings hotel brands in the world, the Crowne Plaza hotel will have a business centre to address guests' business needs during their holiday. A dedicated meeting and events team will also be on site to help clients plan and transform the hotel’s six meeting spaces to suit a variety of event needs. One of the main highlights of the hotel will be a beautiful wedding chapel, ideal for couples looking for a unique wedding destination. Công ty Cổ phần Đầu tư Xây dựng và Phát triển Thương mại Việt Nam đang chuẩn bị xây dựng công trình Tổ hợp Nghỉ dưỡng và Giải trí cao cấp Vitaco – The Four Seasons Park.
Đây là dự án do Vitaco và đối tác chiến lược là Tổng công ty Phát triển Hạ tầng và Đầu tư Tài chính Việt Nam liên doanh đầu tư, đã được UBND tỉnh Hòa Bình phê duyệt.
Dự án nằm ở hai xã Yên Bình và Tiến Xuân, huyện Lương Sơn, tỉnh Hòa Bình, tiếp giáp với đường cao tốc Láng – Hòa Lạc kéo dài, rất thuận lợi cho việc đi lại. Công trình sẽ được thực hiện theo hai giai đoạn, giai đoạn I từ tháng 7/2009 đến tháng 7/2014, và giai đoạn II từ tháng 8/2014 đến tháng 8/2020. Dự kiến khu tổ hợp sẽ được hoàn thành và đưa vào sử dụng tháng 10/2020.

Trên diện tích hơn 868 ha, Công ty Vitaco sẽ đầu tư khoảng 8.000 tỷ đồng xây dựng Tổ hợp Nghỉ dưỡng và Giải trí cao cấp, bao gồm một khu biệt thự, nhà nghỉ đặc biệt cao cấp, một khu resort tiêu chuẩn 5 sao, phục vụ cho các nhu cầu nghỉ dưỡng của tầng lớp thượng lưu và du lịch hội nghị (MICE) của các doanh nghiệp, chính trị gia, một khu nhà vườn dành cho tầng lớp trung lưu cùng một khu vui chơi giải trí cao cấp.
Tổ hợp dự án được xây dựng đồng bộ về hạ tầng kỹ thuật và kiến trúc với một hệ thống các công trình thể thao, vui chơi, giải trí quy mô và khép kín, bên cạnh các biệt thự, nhà vườn, trung tâm y tế và giải trí nhỏ cùng với một vài công trình công cộng khác. Sau khi hoàn thành, khu tổ hợp nghỉ dưỡng The Four Seasons Park sẽ thỏa mãn được nhu cầu nghỉ ngơi, vui chơi, giải trí cho khoảng 8.000 người.
Điểm nổi bật của dự án là cảnh quan hài hoà, hiện đại nhưng vẫn gắn liền với một môi trường sinh thái xanh, sạch và bền vững, dựa trên những nghiên cứu kỹ lưỡng về lối sống của con người Việt Nam cũng như người nước ngoài. Dự án sẽ có vai trò gắn kết mạng lưới hạ tầng kỹ thuật của khu vực dự án với mạng lưới hiện có và với toàn khu vực trong tương lai để tạo thành một hệ thống kỹ thuật hoàn chỉnh và đồng bộ. Hiện tại, Công ty Vitaco và các đơn vị liên quan đang triển khai quá trình chuẩn bị đầu tư dự án, kéo dài từ tháng 1 đến tháng 6/2009.

Address: Mai Chau Village Features This trip to the Northwest highlands of Mai Chau offers a balance of cultural and physical activity set amongst some northern Vietnam’s stunning natural landscapes. We trek for one and a half days through villages in Mai Chau and overnight in a White Thai village where we have opportunities to observe the local lifestyle of these minority people. From the mountainous region of Mai Chau, we travel back to the nation capital, Hanoi.
Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau - Boat Trip on Ma River (L, D)
We depart Hanoi and head west towards Hoa Binh city where we stop for refreshments and visit Hoa Binh hydro station was built in the 1980's. Leaving Hoa Binh we climb to towards the Mai Chau valley, about another two hours away to the White Thai village of Lac.

Enjoy the stunning views while lunching on tasty local dishes cooked by the White Thai girls of the village. Afternoon we walk to the surrounding village then drive to Co luong harbor for the delights of a boat trip on Ma River for visit Ban En village.


Trek along the river bank to where you will reboard the boat where boat to go back to the Lac village. Our hosts for this evening will be the White Thai minority people.

While enjoying these people's hospitality we find out a little more of their lives and cultures while socialising after the evening meal. Tonight’s accommodation in a stilt housewill probably be a little more rustic than you would be used to but nonetheless a lot of fun. Traditional dancing can be arranged as an extra.

Day 2: Mai Chau - Xa Linh (B, L, D)

Today we will visit XaLinh village- 60 km following the Hwy 6, the village of Black Hmong people. You will trek 2-3 hours though the mountains to see the daily life of the Hmong peole, tilling the fields, logging or herding buffalo. Have lunch cooked by a local White Thai woman from Lac village in Hang Kia village before returning to Lac village. Have dinner and spend other night in your stilt house in Pom Coong village.

Day 3: Van Village - Hanoi (B, L)
Following breakfast we embark on a lovely walk to Van village. We have the opportunity to spend some more time strolling around the hamlets and witnessing the beginnings of another day in rural Vietnam before we return to Hanoi. We enjoy lunch in Mai Chau before we drive back to Hanoi. Visit Muong village in Hoa Binh before the tour finish at your hotel in Hanoi.
